Jaroslav Plasil is a Czech international footballer and features for the Spanish club Osasuna. He plays as an attacking midfielder and is already a very important player for his nation. He is renowned for his shooting and passing skills as well as for his two-footedness.
Jaroslav Plasil was signed by the French principality club AS Monaco in 2000 when he was just 18 years of age. He struggled in his first few seasons in France but then developed to become a very important player for the club. He scored a goal during Monaco’s record 8-3 thumping of Deportivo la Coruna in the UEFA Champions League in 2003-2004.
In the summer of 2007 after featuring in over 100 matches, Plasil joined Spanish side Osasuna. He was a regular for the Pamplona side in his first season in La Liga. He has been an international since 2004 and has represented his nation, the Czech Republic, at Euro 2004, 2006 Germany World Cup and Euro 2008.
