Loris Karius is a football player playing for Newcastle United.
He is a German goalkeeper, who spent time with SSV Ulm, VfB Stuttgart and Manchester City in his youth. He made his first-team breakthrough at FSV Mainz, before joining Liverpool in 2016. But his time at Anfield will be remembered for two errors in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final.
After loan spells with Besiktas and Union Berlin, he left Liverpool in 2022, signing with Newcastle as a free agent in September 2022.
