Born on 20 December 1985 in Sandanski, Iliyan Emilov Mitsanskiis is a Bulgarian footballer playing as a striker for 1.FC Kaiserslautern in the Fußball-Bundesliga.
He started his career in 2003. His playing position is forward and has been a part of as many as 11 clubs out of which he has made maximum number of 58 appearances in Zagłębie Lubin. Along with this, he has also been a part of the Bulgaria National Team in 2010.
He has earned many honors to its name as well as for its club. His club was a Polish Cup Runner-up in 2007; He was honored as a top scorer of Bulgarian B Professional Football Group top scorer. He also was a I Liga scorer, scoring 26 goals in 2008-09. Further, he was also honored as an Ekstraklasa second top scorer where he made 14 goals.
