Heung-Min Son is a football player playing for Tottenham Hotspur and South Korea. He is a winger/forward.
Chuncheon-born Son spent time with FC Seoul in his youth career, joining German club Hamburg SV in 2008 as a 16-year-old. He signed a professional deal with HSV on his 18th birthday. He impressed with Hamburg after debuting in 2010-11, scoring 12 goals in the 2012-13 Bundesliga season.
In June 2013, he signed with Bayer Leverkusen for a reported 10 million euros on a five-year deal. He scored a hat-trick against his former club in his first season. He impressed across two seasons before Tottenham signed him in August 2015 for 22 million pounds on a five-year contract. He has since become a star player with Spurs, forging an excellent partnership with Harry Kane.

Son is a three-time Premier League Player of the Month winner, while he won the 2019-20 Goal of the Season award, before netting 23 goals in the 2020-21 campaign to be a joint winner of the Premier League’s Golden Boot award. He is a three-time Tottenham Player of the Season winner.
He has also been capped more than 100 times for South Korea, playing at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, scoring goals at both. He was also part of the side that reached the 2015 Asian Cup final, scoring a late equaliser in the 2-1 extra-time loss to Australia.
