Born on 2 February 1989 in Split, Ivan Perisic is a Croatian football player playing currently for German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund as a midfielder.
Perisic started his initial career with Hajduk Split in 2005-2006 and has eventually signed for French Club FC Sochaux and has played with the same till 2009. In 2009 he was on loan to the team in Belgian first league KSV Roeselare. On 2009 he moved to the club Brugge signing a 3 year deal where he scored 31 goals in 70 appearances. Ivan was the top scorer of 2010-2011 season of the Belgian Jupiter Pro League with 22 goals and was also the elected player of the year.
In 2011 he was transferred to the Borussia Dortmund where he signed a five year contract.

He has made international appearances in 2005 in the National Football team of Croatia in Under-17, Under-18 and Under-21 level. He has also represented the National team of Croatia in the 2011 WEFA European Under-21 football championship qualification. Since then he has been receiving regular call- ups.
