Joe Allen is a young Wales international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Liverpool. He plays as a midfielder and is rated as one of the best young players in Europe.
Allen commenced his professional club football career at Swansea City in 2007 and developed and progressed at the Liberty Stadium since then. He was impressive in the Championship and also in the Swans’ debut Premier League campaign in 2011-12, earning praise for his style of football.
After making 130 league appearances in various divisions of the English football pyramid and scoring seven goals in the process, Allen was signed by Liverpool in August 2012, with Swansea receiving £15 million as transfer fee.

Allen made his international debut for Wales in May 2009 against Estonia in a friendly international. He represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics.
