Jordan Brian Henderson is an England international football player who currently features for Saudi club Al Ettifaq. He plays as a midfielder.
Career
Henderson commenced his professional club career at Sunderland in 2008 and played for them until 2011, scoring four goals in 71 league appearances. He established himself as one of the most promising young players in England while at the Black Cats, ably impressing either in central midfield and at right midfield.
In January 2011, Henderson was listed on Fifa’s official website as one of the 13 young players to watch in 2011, ranking alongside Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku.

In the summer of 2011 Liverpool paid Sunderland a transfer fee between £16 and £20 million for the services of Henderson. He was impressive for the Merseysiders in his debut 2011-12 campaign.
Henderson made his international debut for England against France on November 17, 2010 and played for the Three Lions at Euro 2012.
He has graduated to be Liverpool skipper, lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy in 2018-19 followed by the Premier League crown in 2019-20.
In July 2023, he moved from Liverpool to Saudi club Al Ettifaq, who had recently appointed Reds legend Steven Gerrard as manager.
