Pedro Leon is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He plays as a winger and is rated as one of the best players in his position in Europe.
Leon commenced his professional club football career for Real Murcia’s B team in 2004 and was promoted to the first team in 2005. He played for them until 2007, scoring 10 goals in 68 league appearances, before joining Levante.
After one year, Leon moved to Real Valladolid and in 2009 he joined Getafe. It was at Getafe that he came to the fore, scoring eight goals in 35 La Liga matches, and was signed by Real Madrid in the summer of 2010 for €10 million.
However, Leon struggled to find a regular spot in the starting lineup for Madrid and also fell out with coach Jose Mourinho and at the end of the 2010-11 season was loaned out to Getafe. He continued to remain on loan at the Madrid club for the 2012-13 campaign as well.
