Wellington Silva played for Brazilian giants Fluminense 2010-11 and then joined Arsenal in January 2010. He failed to get a work permit as the FA did not award him a ‘Special Talent Visa’ and he has been on loan to other clubs since then.

The youngster played for Levante for the second half of the 2010-11 season and made two league appearances for them. In 2011-12 Wellington Silva was supposed played for the Spanish club for the first half of the 2011-12 season, but he returned to Arsenal in October because of problems with attitude.
In August 2012 Wellington Silva joined Ponferradina on a season-long loan deal. On his return to the club in the summer of 2013, he was sent out to Murcia on loan for the 2013-14 campaign.
