Jonathan de Guzman is a Netherlands international football player who currently features for the Premier League club Swansea City. He plays as an attacking midfielder and is rated as one of the better players in Europe.
De Guzman developed at the youth academy of Dutch giants Feyenoord and made his first-team debut for them in 2005. He was on their books until 2010, scoring 23 goals in 109 Eredivisie games, winning the KNVB Cup with the Rotterdam club in 2007-08.
In 2010 De Guzman was snapped by Real Mallorca and he scored six goals in 34 La Liga appearances in his debut season in Spain. The following season, Villarreal landed him, but the Dutch forward failed to continue his good run of form and was loaned out to Swansea City in the summer of 2012.

De Guzman regained his form at the Liberty Stadium and soon became an important part of the Swans team, helping Michael Laudrup’s side win the League Cup in 2013.
De Guzman made his international debut for the Netherlands against Italy in a friendly international on January 23, 2013 and has played two more times for his country since then.
