Oliver James Norwood is a professional football player who is best known for being a midfielder of Manchester United. Norwood was born on April 12, 1991 in Burnley, England, and has been a international player since he first participated in the under 17 level competitions. Incidentally, Norwood has already played for Northern Ireland for every team under 20.
Norwood started playing football when he joined his brother’s team back in his home town. When he was just 6 years old, he was spotted by Manchester United scouts, and at a tender age of 7, he was already a trainee at the club. After a few years, Norwood managed to play well and was soon a member of Manchester United’s under-18 team. Soon after, he became a regular of the team as well.
It was in the 2009 to 2010 season that Norwood was able to join the reserve team and was even called to play for the first team during a match in the Champions League stage match against Wolfsburg. Although he was able to join the team to Germany, he was not able to play for the team during the match.
