Daniel Welbeck is an England international football player who currently features for English and European giants Manchester United. He plays as a striker and is rated as one of the best young players in the Premier League.
Welbeck, born in Longsight, Manchester to Ghanaian parents, developed at the youth academy of United and made his debut for the Red Devils in 2008 when he was a teenager. He was farmed out on loan to Preston North End for the second half of the 2009-10 season and then on Sunderland for the 2010-11 campaign.
Welbeck developed and improved his game during his loan spells and became a regular first-team player for United in the 2011-12 season, partnering Wayne Rooney in attack as the Red Devils finished second in the Premier League. He continued to play an important role the following season as United won the Premier League.

Welbeck made his international debut for England on March 29, 2011 against Ghana and was part of the Three Lions squad for their Euro 2012 campaign. He has since continued to remain a vital part of Roy Hodgson’s team.
