Mario Balotelli is a young Italy football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He plays as a striker and is rated as one of the more talented young players in Europe.
Balotelli was born in Palermo to Ghanaian immigrants and was taken into foster care by the Balotelli family. He commenced his footballing career at Lumezzane in 2005 and after playing for Inter on loan for the 2006-07 campaign was signed on a permanent deal by them.
Balotelli played for Inter until 2010, failing to get a regular place for himself in the first team but always impressing when given the chances. However, his temperament remained a problem.

In 2010 Manchester City signed Balotelli from Inter and he soon proved to be an important player for the Citizens. He won the FA Cup in 2011 and the Premier League in 2011-12.
Balotelli made his international debut for Italy in 2010 and played for the Azzurri at Euro 2012.
