Mauricio Victorino> full name is Mauricio Bernardo Victorino Dansilo. This defender player for Uruguay team also played for Plaza Colonia (2004), Nacional (2005-06 and 2007-09), Veracruz (2006-07) and for Universidad de Chile team (2009 onwards). Presently, Victorino plays for Universidad de Chile. During his football career, he made 9 international caps. His debut in international match was against Venezuela team in 2006.
Mauricio scored his first goal as a Universidad de Chile player in a game against Audax Italiano. He made his debut in a Copa Libertadores match for Nacional against River Plate, an Argentine team in 2005.
At five feet eleven inches tall, Victorino played on the national team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Whilst playing against Ghana, he scored the second penalty kick for his team in the World Cup quarterfinals in 2010. This goal was known as one of the four goals which sent the Uruguay team to the semi final match for the first time in their club history in 40 years. The same year, in the month of July, Victorino was reserved to play a friendly match against Angola team in Lisboa.
