A football defender from Lima, Peru, Guillermo Sandro Salas Suarez, began playing professional football with San Augustin in 1995. He remained with the club for one season, after which he transferred to Alcides Vigo in 1997. Salas once again shifted clubs after one season, and moved to Deportivo Wanka in 1998.
In 1999, Salas moved once more, this time to join Sport Boys Callao, where remained till 2001. The defender’s next move was to Alianza Lima in 2001, where he played till 2007. In 2008, Salas moved to his current club, Universidad San Martin de Porres. Salas has also had the opportunity to play for the Peruvian national football team, with whom he has made nearly 26 appearances.
