Norwich City are faced with the prospect of playing a rampant Manchester United side at home as the two teams face off in the Barclays Premier League.

Norwich are currently in 14th place at the moment, three points clear of the relegation zone. There is serious worry at the club that this might change to the detriment of the club by Saturday evening. Leroy Fer and Nathan Redmond have been two of the main players for the Canaries this season as both have played with distinction so far this season.

Gary Hooper has also been decent up front although more can be expected from the big striker in the coming weeks. John Ruddy has also proved to be an able player under the bar as the big man continues to impress with his displays week in week out. The defence is very weak though and that is where the worry lies for the home team.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has an opportunity to field Michael Carrick alongside Darren Fletcher in the same team from the start after what has been ages and most United fans will be salivating at the prospect of watching the two men together after such a long time. If the dup manage to start off where they left, Norwich City are in for an hiding with the kind of form that Wayne Rooney is in up top.

Antonio Valencia is suspended after seeing a red card in their last fixture at Hull City which means that Adnan Januzaj may start on the right with Ashley Young on the other flank. Rafael may be out with a hamstring injury with either Phil Jones or Chris Smalling deputizing for the Brazilian.

Moyes is also expected to recall club captain Nemanja Vidic to the starting lineup after a poor showing by Jonny Evans against Hull City with Patrice Evra starting on the left. Robin van Persie may feature at some stage of this match after training with the team for the last couple of days.
