The technical team of UEFA for Euro 2008 has come up with its Euro 2008 team of the competition. This is a 23-man team that the panel has chosen and doesn’t include the best player on the planet at the moment Cristiano Ronaldo who rather had a pretty much disappointing competition with Portugal.

In addition to that, Spain’s midfielder Xavi Herandez has been named as the Castrol Player of the Tournament. Xavi started the tournament slowly but soon gathered momentum and was tremendous for Spain in the semi-final against Russia and in the final against Germany.
