Here’s more to the ongoing Cristiano Ronaldo traveling circus. Spanish sports daily AS claims to have deciphered the amount of money that Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon would spend this summer for the Manchester United…..
And that sum is a staggering 85 million euros! AS quotes a source close to the Madrid boss as saying that Real would splash out 85 million and not 100 million euros for the 23-year old Portuguese international winger.
The source is quoted saying:
“Cristiano is most likely going to come to Madrid because he’s made a decision that he’s unlikely to go back on. The transfer will close in at around 85m.”
To be honest, there appears no reason why this whole saga should end now. Everyday there is one thing or the other to read about this circus. Now while AS and the other Spanish media cheerleaders carry on the Real Madrid cause, the British tabloid The Sun claims that Ronaldo has informed Manchester United that he shall be joining them in pre-season training from July 10 as scheduled.
Strange, isn’t it?
