Most coaches believe its better to go into a tournament with a team united, team chemitry high and confidence blooming. Carlos Alberto Parreira has gone for that with his not so fanced low ranked South African team. Will it work?, with one day and just 9 hours to go that question will soon be answered.itumeleng khune

June the 11th Johannesburg Soccer City, 90 000 vuvuzelas, its Mexico up agains a rejuvenated Bafana Bafana (South Africa) and the whole nation behind them. A tough task ahead for the Mexicans, after all no host nation has ever failed to qualify to the last 16. But that does not call for celebration for the South African and with the mexicans having reached the last 16 for the previous four World Cup tournaments, the host will have to punch way above their weights.

The South African’s spirit should be on the high thou with their extending their unbeaten run to 12 games when they beat Denmark in their last warm up match. Personally i would not bet against the host taking this one,its tough but archivable.
