Kaka For 55 Million?

Real Madrid have just be presented with a lifline to eke out the world’s best player out of Milan and import him to Madrid.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has assumed the duties of the persident after Silvio Berlusconi stepped down from his post earlier this week for his commitment as the next prime minister of Italy and Galliani has been checking Milan’s books and made one comment that could just open the trapdoor for a whole host of transfer speculation to worm out again out of the can.

In a board meeting, Galliani said that Milan are 24 million pounds in debt. Not that the debt is something huge but Milan want to wipe out this debt as quickly as they can and so Galliani said that they need to sell one player so that the future of the club in terms of finance remains secure.

And who should be that Milan player who would fetch the club that sum? Who else but Kaka? Galliani said:

“To get the books back in order it would be enough to sell Kaka to Real Madrid for 55 million pounds.”

Real Madrid are of course ready to pay 55 million pounds but with the offloading of Kaka, Milan would be crippled both as a team and as a unit. Berlusconi promised wholesome changes to the squad in thr summer but it now appears that the changes would adversely affect Milan.
