Newcastle United to Sign Henry?

According to latest reports, Newcastle United are certain to launch an official bid for the FC Barcelona striker Thierry Henry in the summer. It is reported that Geordie manager Kevin Keegan wants a player of Henry’s class and stature to arrive at St. James’ Park and much to his glee, Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has actually approved it.

Henry has been unsettled at the Catalan capital ever since his 16 million euro transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona last summer. He has been mostly used as a substitute and on the left by Barca coach Frank Rijkaard and is certainly unhappy.

It is also an almost certainty that he wants to move back to the Premiership so that he hets to see his Tea more often. Henry has underlined the absence of his daughter from his life in Catalunya as the most imporant reason for his poor performance.

Could Newcastle solve Henry’s problem?
