AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has promised that the Rosonerri shall undergo a major squad revamp in the summer and they have already been linked with a number of top draw players.
And the Real Madrid right back Sergio Ramos appears to be one of the players who Milan fancy signing in the summer. Ramos is arguably the best right back in La Liga along with Sevilla FC’s Daniel Alves and although there are no concrete reports of Ramos drafting in a transfer request to the Bernabeu men-in-suits, it emerged last week that the young Spanish international defender was unhappy at the Madrid giants.
Ramos was sent off against Real Mallorca in a Spanish league fixture and last week he came out saying that he felt unsupported by the club and by his teammates who, he says, ought to have supported him in his bid to have that red card overhauled. Ramos said in a press conference last week:
“In truth, I was surprised not to hear any of my partners, or anyone from the club, say anything about the issue.
“I don’t expect anything from anyone. I’m happy with myself and I’m just trying to learn.
“Nobody is stupid and everyone knows very well what I mean. I felt a bit alone, but now it’s time to look forward.”
Yet Real Madrid are unlikely to offload one of the best, most entertaining and most efficient players in Europe. Ramos seems to be unsettled at the Bernabeu but Real should and would alter the situation soon.
