Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has taken to Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday evening.
City have got the better of Brighton 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
Foden scored the only goal of the match in the 44th minute when he picked up Kevin De Bruyne’s pass, created space and fired home.
The 20-year-old England international has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for City against the Seagulls.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening, hosts City had 65% of the possession, took 16 shots of six were on target, and earned eight corners.
Visitors Brighton had 35% of the possession, took five shots of which one was on target, and earned four corners.
The result means that City are now fourth in the Premier League table with 32 points from 16 matches, four points behind leaders and city rivals Manchester United, who have played 17 games.
As for Brighton, the Seagulls are currently 17th in the standings with 14 points from 18 matches.
