Haaland scored twice for the home team, first in the 18th minute when he latched onto a pass from Jason Sancho before turning it in, and then on the hour mark after the ball fell lose in the area.
The 20-year-old striker’s first goal of the evening was his 15th in the Champions League and saw him become the fastest player to hit the 15-goal mark, taking just 12 games to do so.
The win means that Dortmund are now at the top of Group F with nine points from four matches, a point clear of second-placed Lazio.
Haaland, who has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in the Bundesliga and has scored six goals in the Champions League for Dortmund so far this season, has expressed his delight on Twitter at scoring twice on Tuesday evening.
