Chelsea defender Reece James has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Valencia.
The Premier League outfit played out a 2-2 draw with Spanish club Valencia away from home at the Mestalla Stadium in Champions League Group H on Wednesday evening.
Carlos Soler put Valencia in the lead in the 40th minute when he turned in Rodrigo Moreno’s cross, but just minutes later Mateo Kovacic restored parity for the London club.
Chelsea full-back James has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the draw with Valencia.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Mestalla Stadium on Wednesday evening, hosts Valencia had 50% of the possession, took 18 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners.
Visitors Chelsea had 50% of the possession, took 16 shots of which six were on target, and earned seven corners.
The result means that the Blues are third in Champions League Group H at the moment with eight points from five matches, level on points with second-placed Valencia and two points behind leaders Ajax.
Chelsea will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
