Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Sheffield United on Sunday evening.

United have played out a 3-3 draw with the Blades away from home at Bramall Lane in the Premier League.

John Fleck put the home team in the lead in the 19th minute, and Lys Mousset doubled their advantage seven minutes into the second half.

Brandon Williams halved the deficit for United in the 72nd minute, and five minutes later, Mason Greenwood restored parity for the visiting team.

Rashford put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in front for the first time in the match in the 79th minute, only for Oliver McBurnie to find the net in the 90th minute for the Blades.

United striker Rashford has admitted his disappointment at the final result on Twitter, but he believes that it was a fair score in the end.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at Bramall Lane on Sunday evening, hosts Sheffield United had 40% of the possession, took 12 shots of which eight were on target, and earned six corners.

Visitors Manchester United had 60% of the possession, took 11 shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners.

While Chris Wilder’s side are now sixth in the Premier League table, United currently find themselves as low as ninth in the standings.
