Aboubakar Kamara In Action For Fulham Against Queens Park Rangers

Fulham Vice-chairman and Director of Football Operations Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Queens Park Rangers at home on Friday evening.

The Cottagers got the better of QPR 2-1 at Loftus Road in London in the Championship.

Jordan Hugill, on loan from Premier League club West Ham United, put Mark Warburton’s side in the lead after just three minutes from close range Todd Kane’s cross was parried into his path by goalkeeper Marek Rodak.

Aboubakar Kamara restored parity for the home team in the 27th minute when he took advantage of a mistake from QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley.

Kamara made it 2-1 to Fulham in the London derby in the 64th minute, as the hosts held on for the win.

Fulham official Khan has taken to Twitter to revel in the win and has also praised Kamara for his heroics.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at Loftus Road in London on Friday evening, Fulham had 50% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors QPR had 50% of the possession, took 19 shots of which seven were on target, and earned 11 corners.

The result means that Fulham are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 29 points from 17 matches, while QPR are currently 11th in the standings with 24 points from 17 games.
