Arsenal-owned Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah has taken to Twitter to express his delight at helping the England Under-21 side to a 2-2 draw with their Slovenia international counterparts.
The England Under-21 team drew 2-2 with their Slovenian counterparts away from home in a friendly match on Friday evening.
Nketiah, who joined Championship club Leeds on loan from Premier League outfit Arsenal in the summer transfer window, scored the opening goal for the Young Lions from the penalty spot in the 39th minute.
The 20-year-old has taken to Twitter to revel in his goal and is pleased with the final result for the England Under-21 side.
Breaking Into Leeds United Starting Lineup
Nketiah is scoring goals for both Leeds and the England youth team, but the striker has yet to establish himself in Marcelo Bielsa’s starting lineup at Elland Road.
The 20-year-old striker has made seven substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring two goals in the process.
The English youngster has also scored two goals in two EFL Cup ties for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Nketiah will hope to break into the Leeds starting lineup and establish himself as a regular in the coming weeks and months.
Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
