John Aldridge has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s narrow 4-3 victory over FC Salzburg at Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool got the better of FC Salzburg 4-3 at home in Champions League Group E.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Salah saw the Reds go 3-0 up after just 36 minutes, but the visiting team scored thrice to make it 3-3 on the hour mark.
Salah found the net again in the 69th minute for his second goal of the evening to help Liverpool pick up maximum points from the encounter.
Former Liverpool striker Aldridge was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his take on the win for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Wednesday evening, hosts Liverpool had 70% of the possession, took 10 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners.
Visitors Salzburg had 30% of the possession, took 10 shots of which five were on target, and earned two corners.
The result on Wednesday evening means that Liverpool are second in Champions League Group E at the moment with three points from two matches, a point behind leaders Napoli.
The Reds’ next Champions League game is against KRC Genk away from home in Belgium on October 23.
