Leeds United have played out a 1-1 draw with Derby County at Elland Road in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side took the lead in the 20th minute on Saturday afternoon when Max Lowe scored an own goal.
Derby found the equaliser in the first minute of injury time when Chris Martin found the net.
As expected, Leeds started the game strongly, and the Whites deservedly took the lead in the first half when Lowe scored an unfortunate own goal.
The West Yorkshire outfit dominating proceedings, but they failed to convert their chances.
Mateusz Klich had a glorious chance to double the lead for Leeds in the second half from the penalty spot, after Patrick Bamford had been brought down inside the Derby penalty box by Matt Clarke.
Klich, though, failed to keep his shot on target from 12 yards, as the ball went wide.
Derby pressed on, and Martin scored the equaliser for his first goal for the Rams since November 2017.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 63% of the possession, took 13 shots of which five were on target, and earned eight corners.
Visitors Derby had 37% of the possession, took four shots of which one was on target, and earned three corners.
Back in action
Leeds will return to action next weekend when they take on Charlton Athletic away from home in the Championship.
As for Derby, the Rams will lock horns with Birmingham City at the Pride Park Stadium in the league.
