Rapid Vienna 2 - Chelsea 0: Antonio Conte loses first game in charge
The most famous Italian national side manager Antonio Conte had his first game for the London’s club yesterday. He wasn’t able to get the start he was looking for. Lost by 2 goals against Rapid Vienna.

Conte was out of Chelsea’s main players and Euro 2016 stars so he gave Victor Moses and youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek a chance to showcase their talent in first half. However, the Blues conceded a goal in the 8th minute. Brazilian striker Joelinton netted the goal against Asmir Begovic.

During the second half Conte bring in fresh legs of Oscar and Ola Aina replacing Loftus-Cheek and Baba Rahman. The situations gets improved during the second half. Diego Costa had a successful attempt at the goal but he wasn’t able to find the back of the net at 65th minute of the game.
A tiny mistake from Branislav Ivanovic costed Chelsea the second goal and Rapid sealed the victory at home.
