Haas CNC Racing runs the NASCAR Series out of their headquarters in North Carolina. Owned by Gene Haas, the team runs a two car team in the Sprint Cup series with one car being sponsored by Haas Automation and the other carrying the State Water Heaters label. The team has had wonderful support for their engines and other technical issues from Hendrick Motorsports.
Gene Haas was convicted for tax-evasion and as a result, has been forced to spend some prison time. Former racing co-driver, Joe Custer, has taken over the charge at the team in the absence of the main man.
