Will Power is a professional IndyCar Series driver for Team Penske. In 2014 and 2022, he became was the IndyCar Series Champion. In 2018, he also became the Indianapolis 500 champion.

He started becoming interested in racing at a young age and drove a Datsun 1200 on local raceways. He also started winning races driving his family’s old Swift SC92F. He won his first title while driving that car in 2000 in the Australian Formula Ford Championship.

He started his Champ Car career in 2005, driving for Team Australia. His best finish for the team was fourth place in 2007. In total, he had two wins and made it to 6 podiums and 6 poles.

He ran his first IndyCar Series race in 2008. It was at the Gainsco Auto Insurance Indi 300. His first win was at the 2008 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
