Alex Albon is a racing driver who currently is with Williams in Formula One.
Career
He previously spent several seasons with Red Bull, replacing Pierre Gasly midway through the 2019 season, having started the season with Toro Rosso. Gasly’s struggles combined with Albon claiming points in five of the 12 races he drove for Toro Rosso led to the mid-season change. He finished in the top six of eight of the final nine races of that season with Red Bull but failed to claim a maiden podium until the 2020, coming third at the Tuscan Grand Prix.
In 2020, he also finished third at the Bahrain Grand Prix, claiming 105 points for the season but Red Bull opted to replace him with Sergio Perez, relegating Albon to reserve driver.
