Romain Grosjean is a Swiss-French car racing driver, who is currently active in competing in the 2021 IndyCar Series. He had formerly spent nine seasons in Formula 1 with different teams. Grosjean is also of French descent through his mother, and he is the grandson of the popular weapon designer, Edgar Brandt and skier Fernand Grosjean.

Grosjean started by racing all 10 rounds in the 2003 Formula Lista Junior and the 2004 French Formula Renault. Bringing home with one win, he placed 7th place in the first season, and he became champion by the following year with 10 victories. Because of his strong performance, he proceeded to join the Renault Driver Development program to pursue car racing.

Grosjean participated at the 2005 Macau Grand Prix, where qualified in the 19th position, as he beat his teammates, Fabio Carbone and Guillaume Moreau. Even though he did the full season for the 2006 Formula 3 Euro Series, he was experiencing a very rough year, as he only took 1 podium finish and ending the season in the 13 positions.

After he left F1, he decided to be more involved in sportscar racing, and he participated in GT1 World Championship. He was driving a Ford GT1 with his co-driver and partner Thomas Mutsch under the Matech Competition team. The pair also proceed another season in Abu Dhabi and they acquired a second victory by participating in the Masaryk circuit. In June 2010, he joined the endurance race called Le Mans 24 Hours with Mutsch and Jonathan Hirschi.

Grosjean is married to his long-term partner named Marion Jolles, a French journalist and television host, in 2012. They have children together named Sacha, Simon, and Camille. Grosjean is also holding some endorsements, such as Bell Sports, Seier Capital, and Richard Mille, and has appeared in the music video called “Dangerous” by David Guetta.
