2007 South American Formula Three champion, Clemente Faria Jr. left no doubt about his immense talent, after accumulating six race wins, eleven podium finishes and eight pole positions. Touted to be the next big Brazilian driver, Faria began his racing career with nine years in kart racing, during which time he garnered six championship titles. His six championship wins include four consecutive Brazilian Kart champion titles, from 2002 till 2005.

In 2006, Faria joined the South American Formula Three Series and started off with a few races, from which he produced two race wins, eight additional pole positions and eleven podium finishes. Clemente Faria Jr. is all set to drive as rookie driver for A1 Team Brazil in January, 2008.
