Xtreme Couture is a training organization of mixed martial arts that was headed by former co-founder of Team Quest and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion, Randy Couture. It was founded in Las Vegas Flagship Gym in 2006 and spread to other cities in both Canada and the United States.

The Las Vegas franchise of Xtreme Couture is considered as one of the most recognized MMA brand and gym in the world as well as the one of the largest in size, measuring over 2,200 square meters. This gym has produced and trained top past and current mixed martial arts fighters.

Xtreme Couture Instructors

There is a long list of experienced and skillful instructors under the Xtreme Couture banner. Its Las Vegas location features some of the best including Ray Sefo, Neil Melanson and Dennis Davis as well as Time Lane, Patrick Begin and Kui Gonsalves-Kanoho. Kyle Griffin also is part of the training team. These instructors have specific skills that are used to train mixed martial arts player.

Ray Sefo is the instructor for striking while Neil Melanson eaches teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, sambo and grappling. Dennis Davis on the other hand is tasked to train fighters on grappling and mixed martial arts along with Patrick Begin. Striking and conditioning are also being trained by Time Lane and Kui Gonsalves-Kanoh. Last but not the least is wrestling, which is trained by Kyle Griffin.

Notable Xtreme Couture Fighters

There are several fighters who are affiliated with the Extreme Couture. Some have developed excellent skills, which made them famous in the mixed martial arts world.

These players include Miesha Tate who was the former UFC Women’s champion in the bantamweight category. Randy Couture also tops the list of notable players as well as Amir Sadollah. Sadollag was the season 7 winner of The Ultimate Fighter.

Additional notable fighters include Forrest Griffin of the UFC and KOTC and Frank Trigg who was part of PRIDE Fighting Championships, UFC and World Victory Word.

Evan Dunham, Vitor Belfort and Heath Herring as well as Jay Hieron, John Alessio and John Gunderson are also players that are affiliated with Xtreme Couture.
