Career

The Englishman turned pro in June 2003. His first opponent was John Connelly. He won against Connelly but lost his next two fights.

In July 2004, he joined Cage Rage. Some of his wins while fighting for Cage Rage include Jess Liaudin, Joey van Wnarooji, Ross Mason, and Sol Gilbert.

He had his first Strikeforce fight in June 2007. Then in October 2008, he started fighting for Elite. His first fight for the promoter was a loss to Jake Sheilds. In September 2009, he made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut in September 2009. In September 2010, he beat Jorge Masvidal for Strikeforce.

His first Bellator fight was in July 2012 but he did not start fighting for Bellator consistently until February 2015. Some of the fighters he’s defeated while with Bellator include Andre Santos, Dennis Olson, Erick Silva, and Saad Awad.
