Career

Munhoz turned pro in March 2009. He started his professional career with Full Fight. And his first fight was against Reginaldo Viera. By January 2014, he had acquired a winning streak of 10 fights. Some of the fighters he defeated at this time include Mauro Brenes, Pablo Alfonso, Bill Kamery, and Jeff Curan.

His first professional loss was also his first fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It was against Raphael Assuncao and held in February 2014. He followed this up with a win against Matt Hobar. Munhoz’s October 2014 fight with Jerrod Sanders ended in a No Contest.

His next fight was held in November 2015 and was a loss to Jimmie Rivera. From November 2015 to October 2017, he won four times against Russell Doane, Justin Scoggins, Damian Stasiak, and Rob Font.
