Career

Bontorin turned pro in 2013. His first professional fight was against Genlison Lacerda for Gladiator Combat Fight. He followed this win with a streak of 11 wins. In that time, he took down some top players including John Olivar Jr, Rideci Dias, and Carlisson Diego. He was also playing for a number of promoters including Parana Regional, Pancrase, and Immortal FC.

His first professional loss happened in October 2017. It was against Michinori Tanaka. In February 2019, he started fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He won his first bout for the UFC, beating Magomed Bibulatov.

Bontorin fought in the UFC until January 2022 after he lost his fight to Brandon Royval. He then moved to fight for the RIZN Fighting Federation. It was against Yuki Motoya and was held in December 2022.
