Career

He turned pro in December 2007. The first two fights of his professional career were losses. His first loss was to Chad Murphy and he followed this with another loss to Marcus LeVesseur. In June 2008, he joined Brutaal and he started winning.

He had a streak of eight wins with Brutaal. Some of the fighters he took down include Tim Morris, Travis Nath, Roland Larson, and James Winters. His first loss for Brutaal: Strike Force was against Derek Getzel in February 2010.

After that, he also started fighting for the Midwest Cage Championship. He lost his second fight with the MCC but he followed that with a string of 12 fight wins through to November 2015, including his first fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship which was a win against Kazuki Tokudome.

In 2016 and 2017, he lost two times while in the UFC. This prompted him to leave and join Extreme Beatdown. In December 2018, he started fighting for the RIZIN Fighting Federation. His first fight was a win against Yasuke Yachi. From 2019 to 2022, he had three losses in RIZIN. He managed to redeem himself in December 2022 when he won against Nobumitsu Osawa.
