More than a year later, in May 2012, he suffered his first loss in a fight against Mohammed Abdallah. He appeared to bounce back from this, bagging four back-to-back wins. His streak was broken by a No-Contest which was later overturned by the promoter, Berserkers Arena. This was against Piotr Danelski.

Meek’s first UFC fight was a win against Jordan Mein. Unfortunately, this was followed by three losses to fighters – Kamaru Usman, Bartosz Fabinski, and Jake Matthews. After the fight with Matthews, the UFC let him go.

After the UFC, he signed Ares FC. His most recent fight was a loss to Louis Gilsmann on December 11, 2021.
