In addition to Pessoa, Gane has gone up against Tanner Boser, Don’Tale Mayers, Junior dos Santos, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and Alexander Volkov. He was supposed to go up against Shamil Abdurakhimov at some point, but Gane had to pull out of the fight because he sustained a pneumothorax during training. The fight was rescheduled but would still go on to be canceled.
Gane would later fight and win against Derrick Lewis. The win gave him the UFC Heavyweight Championship Title.
In his career with the UFC, he has won additional commendations like the Performance of the Night award.
