Vanessa Mariscal is a professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Bantamweight division. She holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a practitioner in other fighting disciplines such as, Jeet Kune Do, kickboxing, and Karate. Mariscal is a former student of UFC Hall of Famer and MMA legend, Royce Gracie.

She had her professional MMA debut on November 20, 2009 in a fight against Jessica Halverson at International Fighting Championship. She submitted Halverson with a rear-naked choke in the first round.

At Black Eye Promotions on June 17, 2011, she forced Colleen Schneider to tap out in the third round through submission by way of rear-naked choke again. However, in a fight against D’Alelio, Mariscal was overwhelmed with a series of punches that caused her to verbally submit. Her match against Valerie Letourneau scheduled on October 27, 2012 was canceled.
