Pannie Kianzad is an Iranian-Swedish professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Bantamweight Division. She is ranked 16th in the best female bantamweight category in worldwide rankings. Nicknamed “Banzai” and “Sexy Scramble”, Kianzad is also a Cage Warriors Fighting Championship Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
Born on December 8, 1991 in Ahvaz, Iran, Kianzad started her boxing training at the age of 14. She competed in about 30 amateur boxing fights and won the silver medal at the 2010 Swedish National Featherweight Shootfighting Championships. She eventually went on to become the 2011 Swedish National Featherweight Shootfighting Champion when she was 19 years old.
She made her professional debut in 2012 at the MMA Raju 9, where she defeated Helin Paara. Her first fight was the start of an 8-match winning streak until 2015. Kianzad suffered her first professional loss at Invicta FC 14 against Tonya Evinger. In 2013, she was named the 2013 Female Fighter of the Year by the Nordic MMA Awards.
Her latest fight was a victory against Kerry Hughes at the Danish MMA Night – Volume 1. She stands 5’7” tall and weighed 135 pounds at her last weigh in. Kianzad’s professional MMA record is 10 wins and 3 losses.
