Professional Career
Rin made her professional debut as an MMA fighter on October 1, 2006, for Pancrase. It was against Asuka Ito and Nakai won it in a TKO. She followed this with a fight in May 2007, this time it was against Kazue Matake and it was for Smackgirl promotions.
She had two more fights with Smackgirl before playing for Pancrase again and moving on to play for the Greatest Common Multiple (GCM). She had a winning streak of 10 fights before getting into a draw with Danielle West at Pancrase Impression Tour 9 on September 4, 2011.
After that, she went on to win 6 more fights. She joined the UFC on May 11, 2014. Her first fight was against Miesha Tate. This became Rin’s first loss. This was followed by another loss, a few months later, this time to Leslie Smith. She left the UFC after that.
After the UFC
Following her losing outings with the UFC, Rin then went back to playing for Pancrase. She fought a bout for Rizin against Kanako Murata. The last three fights of her career were with Deep.
As of October 2019, she is on a 6-fight winning streak.
