Luis Santos is a professional mixed martial artist born on January 2, 1980. He is a Brazilian fighter who is currently signed under ONE Championship and competing in the welterweight division. He started his professional mixed martial arts career in 2000 and has been working with several other promotions including Xtreme Fighting Championships, World Extreme Cagefighting and Bellator.
The 36-year old fighter was born in Belem do Para in Para, Brazil. He is nicknamed, “Sapo”. Currently, he lives in Deerfield Beach in Florida and trains with the American Top Team. He stands 6 feet and 1 inch and comes with a 72.5-inch reach. The talented fighter boasts of a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His first fight in his professional career happened in March 2000. He won the fight over Felix Osares via knockout. This happened during the TOF: Tournament of Gladiator 5 event held in Brazil. This was after enjoying a 12-win streak since 2000.
