Ryo Hatta is a Japanese mixed martial artist born on July 6, 1991. He was born in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. The professional fighter stands 5 feet and 4 inches and weighs 115 pounds. At present, he trains with Strapple and competes in the strawweight division. In terms of mixed martial arts record, Hatta comes with 8 wins and 1 loss. These wins include 7 by submission and 1 by decision. His only loss on the other hand was by knockout.

The talented fighter started his professional mixed martial arts journey in March of 2011. His first fight was with Fumitaka Iizuka during the Zst-Swat! Gx8 event wherein he won via submission using the leg scissor choke in the second round.

In 2012, Hatta competed in total of 3 fights. The first one was with Masatomo Yamagami in July where he won via submission using the triangle choke. The second one was with Satoshi Ishimori where he won again via unanimous decision while the third one was with Ryosuke Yanaka where he won via submission using the armbar.

Hatta’s winning streak continued on in 2013. He competed in 2 fights where he bested Kenichi Sawada via submission using the rear-naked choke in the first round as well as Yusuke Uehara via submission using the heel hook

In 2014, the skillful fighter competed in only 2 fights. Both were successful. He was able to win over Yuichiro Yajima in February of that year via submission using the guillotine choke and Tatsuya Watanabe in August via technical submission using the armbar.

His latest fight was his first loss in his mixed martial arts career. This happened in February 2015 when he fought with Seiichiro Ito. He lost this fight via technical knockout. In June 2016, the Japanese fighter is scheduled to fight Mitsuhisa Sunabe in Tokyo.
