Mike Polchlopek or Michael Polchlopek is a retired professional mixed martial artist and wrestler. He is an American who was born on December 27, 1963 and is famous for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation from 1993 to 1999 and is known as Bodacious Bart and Bart Gunn. He also appeared in the All Japan Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Before Polchlopek became a mixed martial artist, he was a famed professional wrestler. He started this career as early as 1991 and was then trained by Caesar Barraza. By 1993, he was signed under the World Wrestling Federation. He was under this promotion from that year to 1999 and gained international fame. In 1998, he started competing under All Japan Pro Wrestling. This was until 2002. By 2003, he took a short stint at the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling while also competing under the New Japan Pro Wrestling from 2002 to 2004. He retired from wrestling in 2004 and in 2006; he made his professional debut in mixed martial arts. His debut fight was with Wesley Correira where he won by technical knockout in just 2 minutes of the first round.
The 52-year old retired fighter was born in Titusville, Florida. He stands 6 feet and 4 inches. Before he became a professional wrestler, he was an electrician. He resumed this line of work after retiring. Some of his accomplishments in wrestling include a one-time World Tag Team Championship title with Johnny Ace, winning the 2002 Stan Hansen Cup and a two-time International Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Championship title with Kip Winchester.
