Thway Thit Aung is a professional mixed martial artist from Pa-an, a Kayin state in Myanmar. He was born on July 3, 1991. The Asian fighter stands 5 feet and 6 inches and weighs 155 pounds. He trains with Nagani, and is now competing in the lightweight division. At present he holds a mixed martial arts record of 2 wins and 1 loss. These wins include 2 by knockout while the loss was by decision. He is currently signed under One FC.
Aung was born in a beautiful agricultural town in Myanmar. His family was poor and it was Lethwei which allowed him to fight his way out of poverty. Lethwei is a Burmese unarmed martial art which uses similar styles to Indochinese kickboxing including Pradal Serey, Tomoi, Muay Lao and Muay Thai. Aung had trained in this kind of martial art since childhood and became a Lethwei star. In fact, he holds a Golden Belt Champion and has been famed for his powerful kicks and use of the knees.
The talented fighter began his professional mixed martial arts journey in July 18, 2015. His first fight was with Saw Thae Oo during the One Championship 29-Kingdom of Warriors event. He won the fight via knockout in the first round. His second fight happened that same day. He fought with Saw Ba Oo and again won via knockout. His third and most recent fight was with Kyal Linn Aung. This was during the One Championship 40 – Union of Warriors event which happened on March 18, 2016. He lost the fight via unanimous decision.
